Submit a Sample to the XRD Service
Single crystal samples within the School of Chemistry can be submitted to the XRD service for data collection, structure solution and refinement. Please fill in and return the following submission form signed by your supervisor to a member of the X-ray facility staff. The labeled sample should be left in G31 either on the service shelf or in the fridge/freezer as necessary.
We also encourage external users to access our facilities. Please contact us for more information.
It is important that you show your crystals to a member of the X-ray staff for a visual inspection of crystal quality and have them sign the completed submission form.
If you have any extra information about your sample (expected phase transitions, high porosity etc) that might be useful during data collection then please write it in the box provided.
